Ain Shams Engineering Strengthens Its International Partnership with Mediterranea University to Shape the Future of Architectural Education
As part of Ain Shams University's strategy to enhance international academic cooperation and advance the internationalization of higher education, the Faculty of Engineering conducted an academic visit to Mediterranea University of Reggio Calabria, one of Italy’s leading institutions in architecture and urban planning. The visit reflects the Faculty’s commitment to building impactful partnerships that contribute to the development of education and research.
During the visit, Prof. Dr. Mohamed El-Fayoumi, Head of the Landscape Architecture Department at the Faculty of Engineering, Ain Shams University, participated in a series of academic meetings and scientific discussions focused on strengthening cooperation, exchanging expertise, and exploring opportunities for the development of joint educational and research programs.
Dr. El-Fayoumi emphasized that collaboration with Mediterranea University represents a successful model of international academic partnership, helping to prepare graduates with the knowledge and skills required to compete in a global professional environment. He also highlighted the importance of such visits in fostering scientific and cultural exchange between the two institutions.
