Concept of the Engineering Management and Entrepreneurship Programs

Management represents the cornerstone of the success of companies and projects. Especially engineering companies and projects that engineers manage without obtaining sufficient education or qualification in administrative sciences. Therefore, this program will meet the market need to provide engineering calibers capable of understanding the management, financial and marketing dimensions. Thus, they are able to manage companies and projects efficiently and effectively. In addition, to help them establish and make their own companies and projects successfully through qualifying and training them in the field of entrepreneurship.

The program envisions graduates who are not only technically proficient but also possess the ability to think creatively and innovatively, leading to the development of new approaches and solutions in project engineering. The program seeks to bridge the gap between traditional project management principles and the entrepreneurial spirit, enabling students to identify and seize opportunities, take calculated risks, and create value through effective project execution.

The aim of the Project Engineering Management and Entrepreneurship master's program is to provide students with a comprehensive education that combines the principles of project engineering with a strong foundation in entrepreneurship and academic research. Through a curriculum that blends theoretical knowledge, practical experience, and creative thinking, the program aims to equip students with the skills and tools necessary to successfully do research related to managing complex projects and fostering innovation. The program emphasizes the importance of collaboration, adaptability, and effective communication, enabling students to lead diverse teams and navigate the challenges and uncertainties inherent in project management.

The program focuses on leveraging knowledge and skills of candidates in the following disciplines:

• Team Building and leadership of efficient work groups.
• Engineering projects management principles
• Engineering projects performance domains  
• Management of Engineering and technology institutions.
• Entrepreneurship management and Innovation.

Globally generation Z are focuses on the free-lancing work and entrepreneurship. The market size of the free-lancing work increasing by 15.9% by the last year and expected to increase by 16.8% in the upcoming years as shown in Figure (1). In addition, Egypt rank 10th in the number of entrepreneurs globally as shown in Figure (2).
