Brief

Muhammad H. El-SABA is currently Emeritus Professor at the Department. of Electronics & Communications Engineering, Ain-Shams University . He started his career as a lecturer and a control engineer in Alstom Trans-Atlantic (France), where he supervised one of their big projects in Egypt. Therefore, he moved to France. to pursue his higher education, upon obtaining a grant from the French Government (BGF) . He got his Ph.D. on Integrated Electronics from INSA- Lyon, France. He has been, there, the Project Leader of the object-oriented device simulator (GOOD-SIM), which is a huge software (more than 100k code lines in C/C++), on SPARC workstations. He wrote the mathematical core, the 2D/3D graphics under XWindows and Visual GUI with GuideView . He has been also an expert in Software Automatic Generation and Artificial Intelligence tools (Prolog and Python). Jointly, with software development, Dr. El-Saba has collaborated in and supervised the development of integrated circuits (ASIC's) in INSA Lyon, using Cadence2000. During his long stay in France, Dr. EL-SABA worked also in the vehicle industry, in Renault Automotive, where he worked on the development of the Electric Car. After his return to Cairo, Dr. EL- SABA has been an Assistant Professor in Ain Shams University and, jointly, a Technical Manager of SAKHR Software, where he supervised all their software projects. He's been also the Manager of the VLSI Design Center in the Arab Organization for industrialization (AOI), where he led a big team of senior engineers to develop and implement several RFIC's and smart power systems for military and civil applications. Beside his teaching and research work, Dr. EL-SABA has been a Dean of Engineering and Deputy Director in several Universities and companies all over the world. Dr. El-Saba has also occupied the position of Cultural council (Attache Culturel) in the ministry of Foreign Affairs of Egypt.
