Prof. Dr. Yasser Mostafa is a Professor of Harbour Engineering and Marine Structures at the faculty of Engineering, Ain Shams University. Prof. Yasser Mostafa has over 27 years of experience in civil engineering. Dr. Yasser has a Ph.D. in from the University of Western Ontario, Canada. He is a licensed professional engineer (P.Eng.) in British Columbia and Ontario, Canada. Also, he is registered as a Consultant in the Egyptian Syndicate of Engineers (Harbors, Navigation and Shore Protection).
Prof. Yasser has extensive academic experience. He teaches courses in Harbor Engineering, Marine and Offshore Structures, Hydraulic Structures and Coastal Environment Engineering. Through his career, he authored and co-authored more than 35 papers published in international and local journals and international conference proceedings in the field of offshore and marine structures, piles, scour around marine structures and coastal engineering.
In addition to his academic experience, Dr. Yasser Mostafa has extensive engineering consulting experience in the field of port and coastal engineering, civil/structure engineering for the oil & gas industry, geotechnical engineering and project management.
