To facilitate procedures for students and save time and effort, the National Authority for Tunnels, in cooperation with:

• The Egyptian Company for Metro Management and Operation, responsible for operating the first and second metro lines and the Monorail.
• RATP Dev Mobility Cairo, responsible for operating the third metro line and the Light Rail Transit (LRT).

has announced the availability of the student subscription form for the three metro lines, the Monorail, and the Light Rail Transit (LRT) for electronic download before visiting subscription offices. This initiative aims to facilitate procedures and reduce waiting times.

First: Steps for Preparing the Form

• Download and print the student subscription form.
• Provide two recent personal photographs.
• Have the form approved by the student's educational institution:
  • University student: The form must be approved by the university or the educational institution to which the student belongs.
  • School student: The form must be approved by the school and the relevant educational administration.
• Enter the institutional code of the educational institution on the form. The form must also bear the institution's official stamp, which must be clear and legible.

Second: Required Documents

After completing the form, students should take it to the nearest subscription office, along with the following documents:

Proof of Residence

• A valid copy of the national ID card showing the occupation as "Student" and indicating the student's residential address.

For students under 16 years of age:

• An automated birth certificate for the student, along with a copy of the national ID card of the parent or legal guardian, provided that the residential address is stated on it.
• In case the application is submitted using a residential address different from the address stated on the national ID card:
  • A registered contract or an unregistered lease contract, accompanied by a recent utility bill for water, electricity, or gas showing the new address.

Proof of Student Enrollment

One of the following documents must be provided:

• A copy of the college or institute student ID card for the current academic year or previous academic years.
• Or the nomination card.
• Or a copy of the tuition fee payment receipt for the current academic year.
• Or a tuition fee payment receipt issued by Fawry, not electronically, provided that it clearly indicates:
  • University name – Student name – College name – Academic year/level.

If the student does not have a recent college student ID card, a statement issued by the educational institution confirming the student's enrollment must be provided.

Important Notice

The subscription is issued only for the route between the student's place of residence and place of study, according to the information provided in the form and submitted documents.
