Mariam Hazem, a 2025 graduate of the Environmental Architecture and Urbanism (iCHEP) Program at the Faculty of Engineering, Ain Shams University, has achieved remarkable academic success through her graduation project, “HAJR”.
The project was selected among the Top 100 Architecture Graduation Projects Worldwide in the prestigious Tamayouz Excellence Award, one of the leading international awards recognizing outstanding architectural graduation projects from universities around the globe.
In addition to this international recognition, “HAJR” was awarded 4th Prize at the We’re Desco Graduation Projects Awards, following a highly competitive selection process that included more than 800 submissions from over 70 universities across Egypt.
This achievement reflects the high academic standards of the Environmental Architecture and Urbanism Program at Ain Shams University and highlights the ability of its students to develop innovative design solutions and high-quality projects capable of competing on both national and international levels.
