Financial Scholarship Regulations for International Credit Hour Engineering Programs (ICHEP) Students (Academic Year 2025–2026)

Programs (ICHEP) Students at the Faculty of Engineering – Ain Shams University for the Academic Year 2025–2026
As part of its efforts to support and encourage outstanding students to join its distinguished international academic programs, the Faculty of Engineering at Ain Shams University has announced a new scholarship regulation for newly admitted students to the international credit hour programs for the academic year 2025–2026. This regulation includes a range of new scholarships and benefits, most notably:

  • Special Scholarships for Top Students: (The top ten students in each program will receive a special discount every semester, starting from the second semester and continuing until graduation).
  • Early Registration Discounts:
    • Students who register early via the faculty’s website will receive a specified discount on the first semester’s tuition fees.
    • A 75% discount on early registration fees is available until July 1, 2025.

Students may also benefit from previously offered scholarships if eligible, including:

  1. Academic Excellence Discount: (Ranging from 20% to 55%, awarded to students with a cumulative GPA between 3.6 and 4.0).
  2. General Secondary Education (Thanaweya Amma) Top Performer Discount: (100% discount for students ranked among the top 30 nationwide in the Thanaweya Amma exams.
  3. A 100% discount for top-performing students from STEM schools will be granted to the top ten applicants to international programs, provided that the student is placed in Faculty of Engineering, Ain Shams University.
  4. Social Discount (50%): (Awarded to students whose family's breadwinner passes away during their studies in the new programs).
  5. Sports Excellence Discount (25%): Granted to students who achieve one of the top three places in official sports championships recognized by the Ministry of Youth and Sports.
  6. Grandchildren Discount: Available to grandchildren of faculty members and administrative staff working at the Faculty of Engineering Ain Shams University.
  7. Sibling Discount:
    • 10% discount for the first sibling, provided both siblings are enrolled in the international credit hour programs in the same academic year.
    • 20% discount for the second sibling and beyond, provided all siblings are enrolled in the international credit hour programs in the same academic year.
  8.  A 100% discount will be granted to students in specialized programs who achieve a cumulative GPA of 3.85 when transferring to interdisciplinary international programs after their first academic year, provided they maintain the same GPA.
  9. Special Discount for Children of University Staff: Available to children of employees and faculty members at Ain Shams University.
  10. Full Scholarships Offered by Institutions and Companies, such as:
    • Egyptian General Petroleum Corporation Scholarship.
    • Center of Excellence for Water Studies and Research Scholarship.
    • Sawiris Foundation for Social Development Scholarship.
    • Scholarships offered by various companies for specific programs
