Distinguished Scientific Research Support Program
This program targets faculty members and postgraduate students at the Faculty who possess a distinguished research record. It is available to those who have previously published within the last three years in international journals that meet one of the following criteria:
- The journal's SJR index exceeds 3 according to the SCIMAGO databases.
- The journal is ranked in the first quartile (Q1) with a 99% Percentile rank or higher on either the Scopus or Web of Science databases.
Application Mechanism:
- An official email is sent by one of the participating faculty members on behalf of the research team to: vd.re.admin@eng.asu.edu.eg.
- To verify eligibility, the email must include the following requirements:
- Current research data: (Abstract, specialization, and its relevance to the National Strategy for Higher Education and Scientific Research 2030).
- Data of previous research that meets the support criteria (titles and publication links).
- An official response will be sent confirming whether the conditions are met to ensure support in the event the research is accepted for publication in the journal.
- The application period is from April 15th to June 30th, 2026.
Important Notes:
- The number of grants available in this program is 5 research papers.
- When the quota is full, a waiting list will be created, and priority will depend on the date and time the email was sent to the Vice Dean’s office.
- Benefit from this support may not be repeated during the same cycle for any of the participants in the research team.
