May 12: Introductory Seminar on Fulbright Programs and Scholarships at the Faculty of Engineering, Ain Shams University
In line with supporting educational and cultural exchange and enhancing opportunities for international academic communication, and under the patronage of Prof. Mohamed Diaa Zain El Abedeen, President of Ain Shams University, and Prof. Amani Osama Kamel, Vice President for Graduate Studies and Research, and in cooperation with the International Relations and Academic Cooperation Sector, the Faculty of Engineering at Ain Shams University will host an introductory seminar on Tuesday, May 12, at 12:00 PM.
The seminar aims to introduce postgraduate students, faculty members, and graduates to the Fulbright programs, while providing a comprehensive overview of the application process, admission requirements, and the available opportunities for study, scientific research, and professional training in the United States of America. The seminar seeks to broaden participants’ horizons and support their academic and professional development.
In this context, the Fulbright Commission announced the opening of applications for the 2027–2028 academic year programs, targeting Egyptian students and professors from various humanities and scientific disciplines, in addition to programs dedicated to American experts and professors, as part of promoting scientific exchange and transferring expertise.
It is worth noting that the Fulbright Commission is an Egyptian-American organization established under a cooperation agreement between the governments of both countries in 1949. For more than seventy-five years, it has devoted its efforts to promoting educational and cultural exchange, thereby strengthening bridges of communication and mutual understanding between the two peoples.
