Faculty of Engineering at Ain Shams University Welcomes the New Academic Year with a Student Celebration Full of Activities and Talents
The Faculty of Engineering at Ain Shams University received the new academic year with a celebration organized by the student union, as part of the faculty administration's keenness to welcome new students, integrate them into campus life, and introduce them to various student activities.
The events were held under the patronage and presence of Prof. Dr. Amr Abdel Salam Shaat, Dean of the Faculty, with the participation of Prof. Dr. Mohamed Ahmed Abdel Aziz, Vice Dean for Education and Student Affairs, and Prof. Dr. Marwa Abou El-Fotouh Khalifa, Vice Dean for Graduate Studies and Research, coordinated by Dr. Ahmed Abdel Hamid, Student Activities Coordinator, and with the participation of the Youth Welfare Department, alongside a large number of new and returning students.
The ceremony witnessed an enthusiastic opening through a distinctive performance by the Rover March Band, followed by a presentation of the achievements of student activities, families, and various teams in the faculty, the successes achieved by the students, as well as an overview of their plans and ambitions for the new academic year.
The ceremony also included a number of artistic performances presented by the faculty's choir and music team, which received great interaction from the attendees, alongside taking memorial photos of the new students with the faculty leaders.
The events concluded with an art exhibition of handicrafts organized by the Rover Clan, showcasing students' creativity and artistic skills, alongside displaying shields and trophies documenting part of the clan's history and its achievements in various competitions and events.
The events emphasized the interest of the Faculty of Engineering at Ain Shams University in supporting student activities as one of the important axes in building the student's personality, developing their skills and capabilities, alongside academic excellence, which contributes to preparing a well-rounded engineer who possesses knowledge, skills, the spirit of innovation, and a sense of belonging.
