As part of the Faculty of Engineering at Ain Shams University's commitment to developing its services and strengthening its consultancy role, the new headquarters of the Roads Engineering Consultancy Unit was inaugurated on Tuesday, September 22. The inauguration was attended by Prof. Dr. Amr Shaat, Dean of the Faculty, along with several vice deans, faculty leaders, and professors from the Public Works Department, as well as the unit's founder and former directors.

The inauguration was attended by Prof. Dr. Marwa Khalifa, Vice Dean for Postgraduate Studies and Research; Prof. Dr. Hany El-Sayed, Vice Dean for Community Service and Environmental Development; Prof. Dr. Mohamed Faiq Howaidi, Founder of the Roads Unit; Prof. Dr. Osama Aqeel, the unit's first director; Prof. Dr. Mohamed El-Toukhy, former Vice President of Ain Shams University for Education and Student Affairs; and Prof. Dr. Tarek Ismail Sabry, Head of the Public Works Department. Also in attendance were former unit directors Prof. Dr. Hassan Mahdy and Prof. Dr. Khaled Qandil, as well as Dr. Ahmed Hesham, Director of the Production Unit, in recognition of his contribution to preparing the new headquarters.

The inauguration of the new headquarters reaffirms the unit's continued mission and its role in providing specialized engineering services and consultancy in the field of roads engineering, while strengthening communication with its clients and partners.
