Under the patronage of Prof. Dr. Amr Abdel Salam Shaat, Dean of the Faculty of Engineering – Ain Shams University, and Prof. Dr. Mohamed Ahmed Ibrahim Abdel Aziz, Vice Dean of the Faculty for Education and Student Affairs, the Faculty of Engineering held an orientation session today, Thursday, September 3, 2026, on the Early Master’s Program in collaboration with Ulm University, Germany.

The program comes as part of the Faculty’s efforts to strengthen international academic cooperation and provide distinguished educational pathways that enable qualified students to progress early to the postgraduate level. The program is implemented in cooperation with the International Agreements and International Programs Sector (ICHEP), with the participation of Prof. Dr. Sameh Assem, Head of the Electronics and Communications Engineering Department and Coordinator of the Cooperation Agreement; Prof. Dr. Engy El-Damak, Director of the Communication Systems Engineering Program; and Dr. Mostafa Mohamed, Coordinator of the Communication Systems Engineering Program. The session also featured, remotely, Dr. Sandra Mann from Ulm University, Germany, as well as the attendance of Prof. Dr. Mahmoud Khalil, Director of International Undergraduate Programs, and Prof. Dr. Mohamed El-Banna, Deputy Director of International Undergraduate Programs.

The session targeted students of the Communication Systems Engineering Program, particularly senior-year students, where the program’s details, study pathway, eligibility requirements, and application mechanism and procedures were presented. The session also introduced opportunities to continue the academic pathway at Ulm University and obtain a Bachelor’s degree from Ain Shams University and a Master’s degree from Ulm University in Germany, in accordance with the applicable requirements and regulations.

This step reaffirms the Faculty of Engineering – Ain Shams University’s commitment to providing its students with advanced international educational opportunities and opening new horizons for them to pursue their postgraduate studies at prestigious universities worldwide.
