Ain Shams University Faculty of Engineering Honors ASU ASHRAE Team for Outstanding Global Achievements
In a celebratory atmosphere filled with pride, Prof. Dr. Omar Abdel Salam Shaat, Dean of the Faculty of Engineering, Ain Shams University; Prof. Dr. Mohamed Abdel Aziz, Vice Dean for Education and Student Affairs; and Prof. Dr. Hany El-Sayed Abdel Halim, Team Supervisor and Professor in the Mechanical Power Engineering Department, honored the student team ASU ASHRAE in recognition of its outstanding achievements in the competitions organized by the American Society of Heating, Refrigerating and Air-Conditioning Engineers (ASHRAE).
The honor recognizes the team’s remarkable global achievements, having secured:
- 🥈 2nd Place Worldwide in the HVAC Design Calculations Competition.
- 🥉 3rd Place Worldwide in the Setty Family Foundation Net Zero Energy Design Competition.
These competitions are among the leading student competitions organized by ASHRAE, bringing together outstanding universities and student teams from around the world.
This recognition reflects the Faculty of Engineering, Ain Shams University’s commitment to supporting and encouraging its outstanding students, motivating them to pursue excellence and innovation, and actively participate in international competitions and events— contributing to elevating the reputation of both the Faculty and the University on the global stage.
