Ain Shams Engineering Reviews Graduation Projects of Urban Planning Department

In line with the Faculty of Engineering at Ain Shams University’s commitment to fostering creativity, innovation, and enhancing the quality of education, the faculty hosted the graduation project discussions for students of the Urban Design and Planning Department.
The event was held under the patronage of Prof. Dr. Amr Abdel Salam Shaat, Dean of the Faculty of Engineering, and under the supervision of Prof. Dr. Germin El-Gohary, Head of the Urban Planning Department, with the participation of a distinguished group of leading Egyptian architects and urban planners.
The discussions were attended by Prof. Dr. Ghada Farouk, Vice President of Ain Shams University for Community Service and Environmental Development; Prof. Dr. Yohansen Eid, former President of the National Authority for Quality Assurance and Accreditation; Prof. Dr. Omar El-Husseiny, former Dean of the Faculty of Engineering; Eng. Mohamed Abu Saada, Head of the National Organization for Urban Harmony; and Eng. Dr. Moataz Talba, Secretary General of the Architecture Division at the Engineers Syndicate, in addition to a distinguished group of department heads and professors of architecture and urban planning from Egyptian and international universities.
The graduation projects reflected the outstanding academic level of the department’s students, presenting creative ideas and advanced design visions that demonstrated strong architectural and urban awareness, along with the ability to develop innovative solutions aligned with future needs and sustainable development goals.
The event concluded with widespread praise from attendees for the remarkable academic and artistic quality of the presented projects, as well as for the dedicated efforts of faculty members in supporting excellence and leadership at the Faculty of Engineering, Ain Shams University.
