As part of the Faculty of Engineering’s commitment to strengthening communication channels with students, and under the patronage of Prof. Dr. Amr Shaat, Dean of the Faculty, an expanded meeting was held on Tuesday, 10 January 2026. The meeting was attended by Prof. Dr. Mohamed Abdelaziz, Vice Dean for Education and Student Affairs; Prof. Dr. Mohamed Abdelmoti, Director of Specialized Programs; Prof. Dr. Walid Zein, Deputy Director of Specialized Programs; Dr. Nabil Hamed, Field Training Coordinator; Dr. Ahmed Abdelhamid, Student Activities Coordinator; as well as the coordinators of the specialized and international programs and the academic advising coordinators.

The meeting was attended by class representatives of the specialized and international programs, in addition to a number of members of the Faculty Students’ Union. During the meeting, the most recent updates related to the educational process, specialized programs, and student activities were presented.

An open discussion session was also held, during which students’ problems, challenges, and suggestions were heard, and a number of proposals and solutions aimed at developing and improving the educational process were discussed.
The faculty administration reaffirmed its commitment to maintaining continuous communication with students and supporting their active participation.
