Brief

Othman Ahmed Omar received the B.Sc. , M.Sc., and Ph.D. degrees from Ain Shams University, Egypt, in 2014, 2018, and 2022, respectively. He is now an assistant professor at Engineering Physics and Mathematics Department, Faculty of Engineering at Ain Shams University. His research path, broadly speaking, mainly focuses on the areas of Mathematical Modeling, Optimal control, and Numerical Optimization Algorithms for developing accurate deterministic and stochastic models of real-world problems, especially renewable energy systems and epidemiology to counteract the interdisciplinarity between mathematics and different aspects of science and engineering. In academia path, he holds the following academic administrative titles at the Faculty of Engineering, Ain Shams University: Grants and Funding Office Director, Scientific Research Coordinator (Vice Dean-Assistant of Postgraduate Studies and Research), and Member of the Executive Committee for the Study Affairs and Examinations Office.
