The Summer Training Program at the University of East London (UEL) in the United Kingdom has officially commenced, with the participation of 27 students, including 20 students from the Faculty of Engineering at Ain Shams University, representing the Computer Engineering and Artificial Intelligence and Mechatronics and Automation Engineering programs.

The 10-day training program, titled "Big Data and Cloud Computing for Smart Cities," is organized by the School of Architecture, Computing and Engineering (ACE) at the University of East London.

The program began with a welcome reception for the students, followed by an opening session delivered by Professor David Tan, Dean of the School of Architecture, Computing and Engineering, who welcomed the participants and emphasized the importance of international academic collaboration in preparing the engineers of the future. The opening activities also included an orientation tour of the university campus, introducing students to its academic and research facilities.

The program features a series of specialized scientific lectures, hands-on laboratory training, and practical projects focusing on the application of big data and cloud computing technologies in smart city solutions. These activities are designed to enhance students' technical and practical skills while providing them with valuable academic experience in an international learning environment.

In addition to the academic program, participants will take part in a variety of cultural and social activities, offering them the opportunity to explore London's most prominent historical and cultural landmarks, further enriching their educational and cultural experience.

This program is organized as part of the ongoing academic partnership between Ain Shams University and the University of East London, which aims to strengthen academic collaboration, promote student exchange, and provide distinguished international education and training opportunities.
