About

MECA is a non-profit, student-to-student initiative founded in 2005 and approved by the Faculty Dean. MECA stands for Mechanical, Electrical, Civil, and Architecture (the four majors in the Faculty of Engineering at Ain Shams University, Cairo, Egypt).

 Main Activities / Events

MECA Academy: The Academy intends to provide a real-life simulation of the business world observed in any of the leading companies in Egypt. Sessions are conducted by experts from ExxonMobil’s different departments. As all our events must achieve our mission, MECA Academy provides non-technical tracks for the students.

MECA Seniors Program: It’s a Project Management Program that includes offline sessions, conducted at the Faculty of Engineering, Ain Shams University. After completing these sessions, participants will tackle a case study and present their solutions.

MECAgnite: It’s a technical event specifically designed for engineering students from the Faculty of Engineering at Ain Shams University. The event aims to enhance participants' technical competencies through a series of specialized sessions focused on industry-relevant topics aligned with their academic majors.
