Master of Science in Engineering
Courses
The program is designed to equip students with comprehensive expertise in all water-related engineering aspects. The program aims to provide students with the necessary engineering skills focused on the design, construction, evaluation, and management of environmentally sustainable water systems for various purposes. Students will gain a profound understanding of both fundamental and advanced principles of water engineering. Throughout the program, students will be exposed to cutting-edge technologies, particularly computer software applications, with a specific emphasis on hydraulic, hydrologic, marine, and groundwater modeling techniques. Additionally, students will learn how to utilize remote sensing and satellite imagery for data collection and analysis in diverse water environments and fields. By the conclusion of the program, students will possess the ability to employ hydraulic systems and hydraulic structures, as well as acquire knowledge of physical modeling in water engineering applications. They will also develop the skills to address hydrologic issues, engage in water resources management, design and construct irrigation and drainage networks, harbors, and shore protection works. Furthermore, the program incorporates the design of ecohydrological measures aimed at enhancing and restoring the water quality of terrestrial and coastal water bodies. Additionally, the program equips students with the ability to conduct scientific research on water-related topics and effectively communicate their findings. They will develop skills in technical writing, which they will apply when preparing their thesis.
To complete the degree, the student must satisfy the Program Competences and complete 36 hours of the following courses. [Please note that all postgraduate courses are 3 CH]
