What Will Learn?

Course AimsThe aim of this course is to provide students with the needed knowledge and skills, which enable them to define and illustrate the main constructional materials, techniques and methods of the vernacular, ecofriendly, and sustainable construction systems. The focus would be on the local vernacular construction techniques such as masonry load bearing walls, rammed earth walls, applying earth (loam) as a finishing material.
