Photography and Architecture
What Will Learn?

Course AimsThe course aims to capture the essence of architecture through photography. It highlights the connection between photography and architecture by teaching students the fundamentals of architectural photography, enabling them to perceive and document architecture. Students should be able to capture photographic objects of various scales, including architectural models, enclosed and open spaces, buildings, and urban spaces. Trips to different sites are included to provide students with real-world experience in applying graphic techniques in the field. Additionally, the course helps students develop a critical framework for understanding and evaluating architectural photography. Students will also acquire skills in using photography equipment such as analogue and digital cameras and applying post-production techniques to resulting photographs.
