English Description
Introduction to seismology and earthquake engineering and basic dynamics. Seismic design concepts (Equivalent static, Response spectrum, Time history). Lateral load resisting system design (Shear walls, Frames, Coupled shear walls behavior and detailing and computer Modeling). Design of water section and crack control concept. Statics and load distribution for elevated, rested and underground tanks and computer Modeling. Structural detailing and reinforcement distribution in water tanks. Design of surfaces of revolution. -
