Sustainable Building Rating Systems

What Will Learn?

  • Course Aims
    The course aims at helping students to understand the concept of sustainable building rating systems and list the different socio-economic and environmental variables that affect the building rating. In addition, students will compare the differences between the rating systems and explain the process of achieving a rated building globally and locally. Students also will be able to apply building rating systems to evaluate buildings, make design decisions for enhancing the rating score, as well as communicating effectively using clear presentations and reports for their work.
