Surveying and Site Mobility

What Will Learn?

  • Course Aims
    • Demonstrate knowledge and branches of surveying science. • Represent the surveying maps, scales and units used in surveying, field sketches and linear measurements. • Calculate coordinates directions and azimuth for the purpose of surveying and setting out of points representing the borders and axis of buildings. • Formulate area calculation and land division. • Acquire fair knowledge on electronic methods for linear measurements represented mainly by the total station. • Calculating height differences through leveling techniques. • Compute earth work volumes and generate contour lines depending on special specifications. • Deal with theodolites to obtain angular measurements and their associated errors.
