Photography and Architecture

What Will Learn?

  • Course Aims
    This course is an introduction to professional photography. Students should be able to successfully photograph different scales; photography of architectural models, photography of enclosed and open spaces and photography of buildings and urban spaces; in order to document and to obtain valuable data base before the design process. Trips to different sites are considered to be able to practice real application of graphic techniques in the field.

    Convergence of photography and architecture investigation, as well as the various aspects of architectural photography, methodologies for photographing architectural models, enclosed and open environments, as well as urban and natural environments, capturing architectural details at various scales, instruction on the use of analog and digital cameras and the primary parameters of photography, perfection of photographic skills with respect to architectural subjects.
