Brief

Gamal A. Ebrahim received his B.Sc. and M.Sc. degrees in 1994 and 2000 respectively from the Faculty of Engineering, Ain Sham University, Cairo, Egypt. Additionally, He received his Ph.D. degree in Electrical and Computer Engineering in 2004 from University of Miami, Coral Gables, FL, USA. He has been a faculty member at the Computer and Systems Engineering Department, Faculty of Engineering, Ain Shams University since Oct. 2005. He was a post-doctoral associate at University of Miami, Coral Gables, FL, USA from Mar. 2007 until Jan. 2009. His major research interests include intelligent systems, e-learning systems, software engineering, data mining, VoIP SPAM identification, computer communication networks, cloud computing, big-data analytics, network security, and software-defined networks.
