Brief
Omar Amin had his Ph.D. from Ain Shams University in 2025 with research focus on Polymer Engineering, Science and Sustainability. Through his research career, he worked on studying, developing and processing of dynamically-crosslinked polymers and thermoplastics, bio-based biodegradable polymer/nanofillers composites, in addition to designing and modeling of polymer composite structures. Through his career, he obtained hands-on experience with experimental techniques; mechanical, thermal and chemical characterization, for polymers and their composite, besides theoretical and numerical approaches for validation and verfication of polymer composites modeling.
He has participated as well in teaching of several courses, mainly in the mechanical design and manufacturing tracks. This includes "Machine elements design", "Machine construction and assembly drawing", "Tool design, jigs and fixtures", "Production technology", and "Advanced manufacturing technology". In his class, he facilitates and emphasizes mechanical design and manufactuing concepts and tools; including CAD, CAE, CAM, CNC, stress analysis, design for manufacturing, in addition to efficiency employment and balance between conventional and advanced manufacturing techniques.
He joined several collaborative projects and programs seeking his vision of sustainability and knowledge transfer. This includes Erasmus+ programs in TU Berlin and Sapienza University in Rome, NGOs, students activities, and online simplified scientific content.
