Nancy Emad ElHady studied Mechatronics engineering at Ain Shams University in Egypt. After graduation, she worked as a teaching assistant in the Mechatronics department at Ain Shams University and in the Computer science and engineering department at the American University in Cairo. She earned her M.Sc. degree in 2015 from Ain Shams University, with a thesis focused on developing a robust vehicle traction control system (TCS) by integrating Engine TCS and Brakes TCS. Nancy later joined interdisciplinary research teams at the Chair of Brewing and Beverage Technology and the Professorship of Safe Embedded Systems at the Technical University of Munich (TUM). She obtained her Ph.D. from the TUM School of Engineering and Design in 2021. Her thesis focused on sensor failure detection and isolation in ambient assisted living environments. Currently, she works as an assistant professor in the Mechatronics department at Ain Shams University.
