Electrical Engineering Requirements

In addition to the Competencies for all Engineering Programs the Basic Electrical Engineering graduate must be able to (B-Level):

  • B1: Apply general knowledge about generation, transmission and distribution of electrical power system.
  • B2: Select and analyse appropriate control techniques for electrical/electronic engineering systems.
  • B3: Design and implement elements, modules, sub-systems or systems using technological and professional tools.
  • B4: Estimate and measure the performance of an electrical/electronic system and circuit under specific input excitation and evaluate its suitability for a specific application.
  • B5: Identify needs, plan and manage resources, and gather information for solving a specific electrical/electronic problem and document and communicate this solution efficiently.

To achieve these Intended Learning Outcomes, a set of courses must be completed as a Basic Electrical Engineering Requirement.
