As part of the collaboration between the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research and the Ministry of Social Solidarity, the Supreme Council of Universities has approved the launch of the "Mawadda" digital platform for distance learning, affiliated with the Ministry of Social Solidarity.

This launch at Ain Shams University is under the patronage of Prof. Mohamed Diaa Zain El-Abedeen, the university president, in line with the Supreme Council of Universities' decision to implement it on a trial basis throughout the current academic year 2024/2025 for students enrolled in universities, as a step towards making it a mandatory graduation requirement.

The platform includes educational content available through the electronic portals of university faculties.
