Electrical Drives
What Will Learn?
-
Course Aims- Enrich the student knowledge of the variable speed electric drives using power electronics converters to feed different mechanical loads. - Develop the student's ability to recognize the fundamental characteristics of DC and AC electric drive systems - Train students to model speed control techniques of electric drives. - Develop the student's ability to analyze and design different braking systems of electric drives - Gain practical skills in operating, testing, and modeling different electrical drive systems.
