Per-unit systems, Symmetrical Components theory, Short circuit current characteristics, Graph Theory, power system incidence and admittances matrices, static power network equivalents. Symmetrical and unsymmetrical shunt and series faults: L-G, L-L, LL-G, a-open, b & c open faults. Formulation of Load Flow Equations, approximate (decoupled) solution of Load flow, solution of load flow problem using numerical techniques (Gauss-Sidle and Newton-Raphson), and load flow analysis. Load flow and short circuit analysis using computer software packages. -
