Brief
Dr. Morsy obtained his BSc with honors and M.Sc. from Ain Shams University. He obtained his Ph.D from Queen's University, ON, Canada, and his post-doctoral fellow from the same university. He obtained certificates from Queen's University in project management by Mitacs, Canada, design thinking, leading with emotional intelligence, and intercultural competence.
Dr. Mohamed S. Morsy is doing research in various topics in geotechnical engineering with a focus on applications of geosynthetics in geotechnical and geoenvironmental engineering. Dr. Morsy is currently studying the performance of geomembranes in mining applications, MSEW walls, and foundation reinforced pads. Additionally, Dr. Morsy is conducting research in the field of environmental geotechnics and the performance of piles in soft soils.
