What Will Learn?

Course AimsThe aim of this course is to equip students with the essential skills and knowledge required to harness computational tools and techniques in architectural design. Through the exploration of parametric modeling, algorithms, and generative systems, students will gain the capacity to create innovative architectural forms and evaluate their performance. The course emphasizes form finding, performance-based evaluation, scripting, and the use of analysis tools for optimization. Moreover, students will delve into digital fabrication methods and become proficient in parametric tools, ultimately aiming to empower students to leverage computational design as a transformative force in shaping the future of architectural practice.
