Concrete Structures for Architectural Engineering
What Will Learn?
-
Course AimsBy the end of the course the students will be able to determine: • Calculate all vertical static loads acting on the structure and distribute them on beams, • Accomplish the flexural design for reinforced concrete beams and axially loaded short columns at the sectional level and provide full detailing at the element level, • Teach the students the basic principles of the design of reinforced concrete structures, by using charts, • Accomplish complete design and detailing for reinforced concrete one-way, cantilever solid slabs , • Teach the students the basic principles of choice and the most economical systems for covering halls.
