Course AimsBy the end of the course the students will be able to: 1. Understand the urban morphology, its elements, and components, including built and natural elements 2. Understand principles of urban design 3. Recognize elements of the built environment 4. Analyze the urban fabric in existing developments 5. Suggest and evaluate alternative solutions 6. Compare between different urban design projects 7. Design and construct alternative solutions to urban design projects 8. Work in teams (teamwork)

English Description
This course aims to examine the relationship between architecture and urban landscape design, through a project that explores the meaning of public and private spaces, while ensuring the principles of legibility, permeability, connectivity and walkability, for the establishment of healthy communities. The project focuses on the quality of exterior and interior spaces, allowing the students to learn how to analyze and understand the design process of creating new areas, while applying the theories of urban design and using the tools of landscape design.
