Human Behavior and the Built Environment
What Will Learn?

Course AimsThis course aims to teach students that human behaviour is designed to prepare students for why people act and communicate the way they do. The course addresses the four most prevalent types of motivation: the influence of other people, the environment, psychological factors and individual personalities. Students learn real-life examples of human behaviour that illustrate each point. Having endowed on the mutual relationship between the built environment and human behaviour, the course objective is to provide an in-depth understanding, addressing, analysing and diagnosing this relationship. It will then continue with several advanced topics in the field.
