What Will Learn?

Course AimsThe aim of this course is to provide students with the needed knowledge and skills to: ● Understand the various structural design aspects and methods. ● Understand the project design phases. ● Study the properties and behavior of various structural materials. ● Study the flow of forces for bending and membrane structural elements. ● Provide basic design for various bending and membrane structural elements. ● Study the basics of strut and tie method. ● Provide basic design for struts, ties and nodes for various reinforced concrete elements.
