What Will Learn?

Course AimsBy the end of this course students should be able to: 1. Design combined and separate sewer collection systems in urban areas. 2. Plan of wastewater and rain collection network. 3. Define the water soil plant relationships. 4. Calculate the irrigation efficiency and irrigation time and period for different soil and plants. 5. Design modern irrigation system (Drip and sprinkler) networks 6. Calculate the amount of leaching requirements in salty soil. 7. Calculate of the cable size and ampacity 8. Calculate of the circuit breaker rating. 9. Calculate the proper pillar and transformer size and rating.

Soil-plant-water relationships. Irrigation water requirements, irrigation efficiency and calculating periods between irrigations, flow rates and irrigation time. sprinkler and drip irrigation, subsurface irrigation. Geometric Road design, signing and marking, Street and landscape lighting, power supply networks, CCTV, Gas, and telecommunication.
