English Description
This course is about theories and principles of interior design. It also covers the interaction and the hierarchy of internal and external spaces. Students should identify horizontal and vertical treatments and finishes via analyzing surfaces, textures, forms, movements, and visual illusions. They should also identify theories of colors, color schemes, and their different effects. Moreover, students should distinguish the effects and the differences of natural and artificial lighting in spaces with different uses. The course will also preview international examples and concepts of interior design. Additionally, it introduces interior landscaping, focusing on the integration of plants, greenery, and natural elements into interior spaces to enhance aesthetics, improve air quality, and create harmonious environments tailored to various functional needs. -
