What Will Learn?

Course AimsThis course aims to provide students with deep knowledge of the vehicle steering systems, and to help students understand the different forces acting on a passenger car negotiating a turn. In addition, the students should be able to understand the sources of vibrational inputs and the comfort criteria.

Concepts of neutral, oversteer and understeer vehicles, vehicle directional stability. Vehicle comfort criteria: sources of vibration inputs. International standards limit of human response to in-vehicle vibrations. -
