Vehicle Safety Systems and Accident Analysis
What Will Learn?
-
Course AimsThis course aims to Identify the Basic Principals of physics related to car motion. Also, to Identify the principals of car momentum during collisions. Furthermore, it aims to define the rotational equilibrium and car dynamics due to impacts. In addition, it aims to define the accident reconstruction techniques and the damage analysis. The students will learn the impulse momentum theory and the coefficient of restitution. Students should be able to apply the damage-based and trajectory-based reconstruction techniques.
Requirements
