    Types of alternative fuels, Biofuel, Ethanol, Electricity, Natural Gas, Hydrogen, Propane, Methanol, etc. Modification to engines for operation on alternative fuels. Fuel alternatives emissions and methods of reduction. Effect of alternative fuels on engine service life. Sources of pollution: Exhaust gas, Types of pollution, Effect of engine performance characteristics on pollutants levels in both diesel and petrol engines, Catalytic Converters, PCV Valve, EGR Valve.
