What Will Learn?

  • Course Aims
    The aim of this course is to enable senior automotive engineering students to initiate and plan a comprehensive engineering capstone project. Students investigate technical challenges in the automotive industry across vehicle powertrain, chassis performance, autotronics, or maintenance systems, conduct rigorous literature review and benchmark analysis, apply engineering design principles to propose sustainable, cost-effective solutions, and work effectively in collaborative teams while communicating technical findings through professional documentation and intermediate milestone presentations.

    Under supervision, the student should approach his graduation project within his senior year. The purpose of this graduation project is to provide students with an opportunity to engage in an activity that will allow them to demonstrate their ability to apply the automotive knowledge and skills they have gained throughout their years in the educational system. The project is designed to ensure that students are able to apply the knowledge and analyze and synthesize the information.
