• Receiving a fund (about 2,500 €) from EXCEED project to import a groundwater simulator from ECOVIA company in Switzerland. This instrument is used for undergraduate and postgraduate studies in The Department of Irrigation and Hydraulics Department- Faculty of Engineering-Ain Shams University.

• December 2011, Hamburg, North Germany: In situ field work to study the remediation of a highly contaminated groundwater with arsenic since the Second World War.
• November 2010, Lindwedel, Germany: carrying out number of groundwater pumping tests in this area to study the aquifer characteristics.
• June 2009-August 2012, Germany: PhD Researcher at Institute of Water Resources Management and Hydrology, Leibniz Universität Hannover/ Germany, working in a joint Project: “water scarcity management in arid and semi-arid areas by applying artificial recharge of groundwater by treated wastewater, Case Study: Sadat City in Egypt”.

• October 2007- August 2008, The Netherlands: carrying out number of studies and researches on using a numerical model (DELFT 3D), to study the hydraulic performance of stilling basins.
• 2002 – September 2006, Egypt: carrying out number of physical models in Ain Shams university laboratory.
• October 2007, The Netherlands: Leader of group work, assigned by UNESCO-IHE Institute, consists of 20 MSc. participants from different nationalities and different specializations (Hydrology, Hydraulics & River Basin Development, Land & Water and Hydroinformatics) to carry out a pre-feasibility study about Development of Water Resources in the Lower Rhone Catchment, France. Ranked the first.
