Brief

Mostafa Essawy received the B.Sc. (Hons.) and M.Sc. degrees in electrical engineering from Ain Shams University, Cairo, Egypt, in 2014 and 2019. From 2014 to 2019, he was an analog/mixed-signal IC Design Engineer with Si-Ware Systems, Cairo, Egypt. In 2022, he was an RFIC Design Intern with Apple. Currently, he is pursuing a Ph.D. degree in electrical engineering at Oregon State University, Corvallis, USA. His current research interests include RF and mm-wave circuits and systems in next-generation wireless communications and radar.

Mr. Essawy was a recipient of the 2019 EECS Outstanding Scholarship at Oregon State University, the 2022 Analog Devices Outstanding Student Designer Award, and the 2023-2024 IEEE Solid-State Circuits Society (SSCS) Predoctoral Achievement Award. He has served as Vice-Chair for the IEEE SSCS Student Chapter at Oregon State University since 2021 and as a reviewer for IEEE Transactions on Circuits and Systems I (TCAS-I), and for Springer: Circuits, Systems, and Signal Processing (CSSP).
