Positions of Responsibility
1. Taught many courses including various aspects from which are; Structural Analysis I and II, Various Structural Systems including Determinate and Indeterminate systems, Statics, Mechanics of Material, Influence Lines, Stresses and Deflections, Structural Dynamics, Plastic Analysis of structures, and Capstone design projects.

2. Creating quizzes and their respective model answers, while also marking them for class room activities.

3. Creating problems sheets and their respective model answer, while also marking them for class room activities.

4. Supported several students in a competition supervised by the Egyptian Syndicate of Engineering for students from my university as well as other universities, for making truss systems made of only wood.

5. Supervising and supporting students’ research activities as well as graduation projects throughout my career.

6. Undertaking administrative tasks like making course files for undergrad and post grad courses.

Research Projects

(1) M.Sc. Thesis with the title of : Effect of Lateral Torsional Movement of Floors on Pounding Response of Buildings

The objectives of this study can be summarized as follows:
1. Understanding the pounding behavior of adjacent structures during earthquakes.

2. Investigate the effects of pounding between adjacent buildings which are subjected to seismic loads and constructed without sufficient seismic gap especially the case of zero gap distance between buildings, due to its wide-spread existence in case of actual buildings built in many cities.

3. Analyze and study the structural behavior due to Translational (lateral only) pounding as well as lateral-torsional pounding between adjacent buildings, 3-D finite element models were built for the analysis process.

4. An extensive parametric study is conducted to determine the effect of various parameters on the pounding behavior of the buildings, from which are the building’s mass, stiffness, height, and torsional rotation, while studying those factors both, individually as well as in relation with each other.

5. Determination of the most effective parameters.

6. Developing conclusions related to the structural behavior of the buildings, as well as useful recommendations for design work as well as future research work in this field.

(2) A Report Presented in Partial Fulfillment of The Requirement of The Graduation Project of Reinforced Concrete Structure: “Analysis and Design of Passive Seismic Response Modification Devices”, the report focuses on four chapters;

CHAPTER 1. Types of Seismic Control (Passive & Active)
CHAPTER 2. Types and Dynamics of Base Isolation System
CHAPTER 3. Different Codes Provisions, Modeling and Structural Analysis of Isolated Structures
CHAPTER 4. Case Studies (Using SAP2000)

(3) Various reports submitted during the preliminary courses required for the M.Sc. degree.
