Brief
Prof. Ahmed A. Hassan, works as professor at the Irrigation and Hydraulics Department, Faculty of Engineering, Ain Shams University. His work focuses on the Hydrology, Environmental Protection and Numerical Modeling. He teaches water related topics (Environmental Hydrology, Groundwater Hydrology, Environmental Impact Assessment for Water Projects and others) for both graduate and post graduate students. His research varies between water related branches; he published many manuscripts in related peer reviewed journals. He is also a reviewer for specialized journals in the field. Among these researches, water resources management, flood control, storm water management in arid regions, hydrologic and hydraulic analysis. Also, he conducted advanced studies and modeling for hydraulic simulation, water quality for several entities using the most up-to-date tools and techniques in such filed. He is the founder and GM of AAH-Consult and Aiecon-Consult offices which are specialized in water engineering, flood protection, wet infrastructure, hydrodynamics studies and carried out several related mega and medium scale projects in ME and Africa. Prof. Ahmed participated and is now involved in multinational research projects with academic infinities in Germany, Turkey, Jordan and African countries.
