Faculty of Engineering Ain Shams University Hosts Engineer Abdullah Salam


The Faculty of Engineering Ain Shams University hosted Engineer Abdulla Sallam, Managing Director and CEO of Misr City Company, on Monday, August 21, 2024, at the Grand Hall of Ceremonies, as part of seminars organized by the Student Union in the Faculty of Engineering under the supervision of Professor Omar Elhusseiny, Dean of the Faculty. Professor Ahmed Moneeb Elsabbagh, Vice Dean for Education and Students Affairs, Professor Akram Farouk, Vice Dean for Environmental and Community Affairs, and Professor Ahmed Ragheb, Coordinator of Student Activities at the Faculty of Engineering, welcomed Engineer Abdulla.
During the meeting, students, staff, and faculty welcomed Engineer Abdulla, praising his role in providing voluntary consultations to young entrepreneurs and start-ups. The meeting addressed his business journey, his challenges, his dedication to work, and the challenges, and encouraged students to develop their skills and pursue their dreams. The meeting also talked about bridging the gap between business and engineering, thinking about innovative solutions, and driving innovation and operational excellence with the need of the labor market for engineers who understand the dynamics of the market and their quest to solve problems and overcome challenges.
After the meeting and in recognition of his achievements and contributions, the administration of the faculty provided a shield of appreciation for his efforts and continued support for emerging talent. This visit is part of the commitment of the administration of the Faculty of Engineering to fostering alumni communication and influential personalities that can encourage and inspire college students with different stories and success experiences.
