The choir and music teams at the Faculty of Engineering participated in the Self-Sufficiency Festival of Ain Shams University for 2023 at the Talaat of the Faculty of Women, Ain Shams University on Thursday, December 21, 2023. The choir and music teams have presented a range of old and modern collective and individual songs and plays under the leadership of Mohammed Alsaid and Ziad Mohamed Kamal.
The Festival of Self-Sufficiency was held under the auspices of Professor Mohammed Diaa Zien Al Abidine, President of Ain Shams University and organized by the Artistic Committee of the Student Union of Ain Shams University. The Faculty of Law, Al Alsun, Arts, Pharmacy, Education, Women, and Engineering, participate in singing and playing, solo and group, in the festival scheduled from December 14 to December 22 to December 2023.
The participation of the two teams comes under the supervision of Professor Omar Elhusseiny, Dean of the Faculty, Professor Ahmed Moneeb Elsabbagh, Vice Dean for Education and Students Affairs, Professor Ahmed Ragheb, Coordinator of Student Activities, Professor Doaa Kamal, Coordinator of Artistic Activities, Mr Riad Abdulrahman, Director of Youth Care, Ms Safaa Mohammed and M. Ola Abdulaziz from Youth Care at the Faculty. 
The festival was attended by the jury, which includes a selection of professors specializing in the fields of music and singing, as well as faculty staff, youth care representatives, representatives from the Student Union, and the public.
